Redding, CA – On Thursday, November 21, Savi Global Consulting & Translation Services will be co-hosting a free event to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week, along with the Women’s Business Center at JEDI (WBC) and Shasta College. The event, What Global Entrepreneurship Looks Like in the North State – Celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week & Sharing Resources You Need to Succeed, will provide practical insights and tools for local businesspeople to connect with new partners, funders, and clients in a global network.
Savi Global will also be unveiling a new e-book at this event focused on helping international entrepreneurs apply for the E-2 “Investors” Visa. The book, The E-2 Visa Roadmap: Your Personal Guide to Navigating the E-2 Investor Visa, For International Entrepreneurs & Business Owners Who Want to Start a Business in the U.S., will make its debut at the event and includes guidance gleaned from experience advising international entrepreneurs through their E-2 Visa application journey.
The event will be held at the WBC Redding office at 1670 Market Street, Suite 112. The event is free and includes a lunch with samples of cuisine from around the world. Pre-registration is encouraged.
The agenda will include an overview of exports and Northern California’s current international footprint, a live video interview with the CEO of Unshackled Ventures, Manan Mehta, and a live video and Q&A session with immigration attorney, Bobby Chung. It will also include video interviews from local employers who have successfully hired international employees.
Finally, the event will feature presentations from two international E-2 visa applicants who have started businesses in Redding.
“The North State has a broader international footprint than most people realize,” says Nina Gibbs, Founder and Managing Director of Savi Global. “This event will help to honor the innovation of international entrepreneurs and help people to launch their own global efforts in a local networking environment.”
