Savi Global and The Urban Hive to Host Sacramento’s First Visa Options for International Entrepreneurs Free Workshop
Sacramento, Calif. – After a successful first workshop in Redding, Savi Global is collaborating with The Urban Hive to bring this free event to Sacramento on Thursday, July 20th.
Visa Options for International Entrepreneurs is an event designed for foreign national entrepreneurs, professionals, and students who wish to live and work in the U.S. It’s also a great venue for local employers interested in hiring foreign nationals who want to learn more about the process.
Discussions will cover a variety of topics including requirements for different temporary visas and the advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as common obstacles in obtaining visas. There will also be short discussions on a study focused on foreign-born STEM workers, common avenues in obtaining permanent residency, and the importance of maintaining one’s immigration status. Additionally, the panel will give their opinions on how the new visa vetting policies are effecting business and entrepreneur visas.
Guest speakers include Bobby Chung, Immigration Attorney, based in Los Angeles, CA; Kaushik Ranchod, The Ranchod Law Group, based in Sacramento, CA; and Mark Kowalewski, Accent Legal, Attorney at Law, based in Sacramento, CA. The event will be moderated by Nina Gibbs, Founder and Managing Director at Savi Global, a business planning and translation services company based in Redding, CA, that specializes in E-2 Visa business plans.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 20th, 2017, at The Urban Hive, located at 1931 H Street, Sacramento, CA 95811. The presentation begins at 6 p.m. and will conclude at 7:30 p.m., with specific time dedicated to Q&A at the end. Following the presentation, speakers will be available for one-on-one questions and networking from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.
